BARBERING: 1,000 HOURS

360 Degrees Beauty & Barber Academy #1, is proud to offer our newest program. If you are looking to train with the best, then you will want to enroll today for our barber program. During this training, we will prepare students for the State of Texas’ Board Examination to become a licensed Barber, while also helping to build their confidence and prepare them for a career in the real world.

We offer a number of Barber School programs including Class A Barber, Barber Instruction Program, Barber Crossover to Cosmetology, as well as our manicure program. We also offer payment plans. 

The purpose of a barber refresher course is to renew or update the skills of a currently licensed barber who has not practiced barbering for a period of time. This course can also be used to prepare a formally licensed barber for the state board examination.

MANICURIST: 600 HOURS

The primary purpose of the Nail Technician Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level position as a nail technician or related career avenue.

The objectives of the nail technician program are to develop basic knowledge in the nail and its disorders in each of our students, and techniques in developing skills in instructing manicures, pedicures, and artificial nail application, and related theory.

ESTHETICIAN: 750 HOURS

The Facial Specialist program is designed to train students in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to obtain entry-level positions in skin care related career field. 

The objectives of the facial specialist program are to develop in each student basic knowledge of the skin and its disorders; and in developing treatments and techniques including skills in regular facials, European facials including equipment, waxing, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, makeup, and related subjects.

HAIR WEAVING and Braiding: 300 HOURS

The primary purpose of the Weaving and Braiding Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level positions in cosmetology or related career field.

The objectives of the Weaving/ Braiding program are to develop in each student basic knowledge and techniques in developing skills in hair Weaving, hair shaping, hair Braiding, coloring, and related subjects.

INSTRUCTOR: 500/750 HOURS

The primary purpose of the Instructor Course is to train the student in the basic teaching skill, educational judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level employment as an instructor or related career avenue.

The objectives of the cosmetology instructor program are to develop in each student instructor’s basic knowledge and techniques in developing skills in teaching hairdressing, hair shaping, permanent waving, hair relaxing, hair coloring, facials, manicuring, demonstrate and write lesson plans and related subjects.

CROSS OVER CosmoTology To Barbner:
300 HOURS

The primary purpose of the Cosmetology Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level positions in cosmetology or related career field.

The objectives of the cosmetology program are to develop in each student basic knowledge and techniques in developing skills in hairdressing, hair shaping, permanent waving, hair relaxing hair coloring, facials, manicuring, and related subjects.

CROSS OVER Barbner to CosmoTology:
300 HoURST

The primary purpose of the Barber Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level positions in Barber or related career field.

To prepare a student to the level of competency in the art and science techniques of barbering to include: arranging, beautifying, coloring, processing, shaving, styling, and trimming of the mustache and beard.

REFRESHER: 400/750 HOURS

To properly refresh the students on all aspects of the cosmetology industry which will result in successfully passing the state board examination, preparing graduates for careers in cosmetology arts and sciences. This program also helps cosmetologists who just want to be refreshed because of a lack of performance and/or speed.
The primary purpose of the Refresher Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level positions in cosmetology or related career field.

EyElAsh ExTENSIONS: 320 HOURS

The eyelash extension program is to develop each student’s basic knowledge and is designed to teach you the proper technique used by many to enhance the eyes with synthetic extensions to give the appearance of longer, thicker natural lashes. Not only will you learn how to effectively apply and remove the lash extension, you will also learn how to adequately adapt the application process to the clients’ particular eye shape for the desired effects. During the course you will carry out treatments on professional training mannequins, kids, allowing you the maximum time possible time to acquire the skills and work upon your techniques, and all related subjects.
